USAID

Editorial: Partners in Crime

As the revolving door between the U.S. State Department, the UN and NGOs churns out perpetrators like Suzanne Nossel, the credibility of the human rights industry not only loses legitimacy, but creates the conditions for all NGOs to be treated abroad with the same suspicions as U.S. embassy personnel who've engaged in destabilization campaigns alongside NED, USAID and CIA agent provocateurs.

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words … | Haitians Want to Know: “Where’s the Money?”

Haitians have a question they would like answered.

US NGO’s and the Privatization of El Salvador

"In El Salvador, this means subservience to Washington and international investors who seek nothing less than total control of that nation's economic destiny. This attempt at economic monopolization can be summed up with one word: privatization. It is precisely this strategy with all the union-busting, wage gouging, and propaganda disinformation that it entails, that is rearing its ugly head in El Salvador."

FLASHBACK: The “Green Revolution” | Bill Gates, Philanthropy and Social Engineering

"With huge, government-aided financial empires resting in the hands of a small power elite, the ability of the richest individual philanthropists to shape global society is increasing all the time, while the power of society to influence governments is being continuously undermined by many of these powerful philanthropists."

[TIPNIS] Alvaro Garcia Linera: Geopolitics of the Amazon – Part I

"But to the extent that those levels of organization, with little contact with the Amazon indigenous bases, function exclusively with external (NGO) funding, which pays the salaries of the leaders, in reality they actually develop as NGOs, reproducing mechanisms of clientelist cooptation and ideological and political subordination to the funding agencies, most of them European and North American, as in the case of USAID."

Subverting Sovereignty

"As noted in other WKOG articles and special reports, though, US spies and provocateurs will still be able to work undercover as employees of NGOs, funded by foundations established by US elites to undermine opposition to US hegemony. With help from the Rockefellers, Ford and Soros, subverting sovereignty and derailing democracy worldwide will continue, albeit in a manner that puts authentic non-profits and independent journalists at risk."

End to USAID Spying Looms in Latin America

"In June 2012, foreign ministers of the ALBA bloc countries passed a resolution on USAID. It read: «Citing foreign aid planning and coordination as a pretext, USAID openly meddles in sovereign countries' domestic affairs, sponsoring NGOs and protest activities intended to destabilize legitimate governments which are unfavorable from Washington's perspective. ...In most ALBA countries, USAID operates via its extensive NGO networks, which it runs outside of the due legal framework, and also illicitly funds media and political groups."

BOLIVIA | Evo Morales Bluntly Describes US Diplomacy

"Bolivia's next step is going to be to similarly insulate itself from USAID as well as from the National Endowment for Democracy and the International Republican Institute. Those are known to be behind anti-government groups and NGOs in Bolivia such as the Youth for Development organization, the Governance and Development Institute, the Civil Advocates Institute, etc. Over the years of its presence in Bolivia, USAID formed a fifth column of the opposition intellectual elite, media people, and student associations in the country. "

BOLIVIA | The United States Uses Diplomacy to Destroy Nations

"At this moment, Bolivia has already broken free from that dependency, it controls its hydrocarbons, its economy is stable, and there is no justification for the government, when it intends to expel USAID, to allow itself to be tied up with the astute answer that all of the aid was requested by Bolivia in strict accordance with the agreement of 1951, that unilateral suspensions are not convenient, and that the programs could be analyzed individually in the context of the framework agreement. There is no reason for Bolivia, in its attempt to free itself from the United States, to end up ratifying its chains and becoming even more bound in dependency."

Freedom House: The Language of Hubris [Freedom House in Venezuela]

"Freedom House is the oldest Washington-based NGO working in the international arena. It was founded just before the beginning of the U.S. entry into World War II and blossomed during the Cold War. Freedom House today positions itself as a nuanced, liberal, or even left-of-center organization, obscuring its real agenda: to destabilize foreign governments whose policies challenge U.S. global hegemony.
