Thirty Years After the U.S. Invasion of Grenada, the First Neoliberal War

"Therefore it is with considerable nostalgia that I look back on this period, this before the Western left’s spinal cord had been surgically removed and its head compressed into its waist, forming a monstrous human starfish that reaches out in all directions (having little of its own). However, to end on a more productive note, the Latin American left has never been stronger, more dominant, and more unified..."

On Corporate Power | On Environmental Foundations: An Interview with Cory Morningstar

"Further, an underlying, perhaps subconscious, yet very real racism (or at least a complete obliviousness to “other”) very quietly hums along beneath the entire system — resulting in the Euro-American dominated environmental “movement” acquiescing to the industrialized capitalist system. Thus the reality of those oppressed and exploited on the receiving end of the system is an inconvenient fact that is ignored at all costs by practically everyone (predominantly the privileged white) within the complex."

FLASHBACK | The American Plan: How to Destroy an Agricultural Economy in Haiti

As it turns out, CARE had become involved in what was a very deliberate undermining of the Haitian peasant economy, the cornerstone of a plan that the World Bank and USAID had designed. This is how it happened.

Who is Shaking Up Brazil and Why

"For example, on June 19 a photograph was published on the page of the Brazilian Facebook «Human Rights» community depicting the company’s owner, Mark Zuckerberg, holding a sign in English saying: «It’s not 20 cents! #ChangeBrasil!» It is well known that at the beginning of Zuckerberg’s entrepreneurial career the CIA established contact with him and financed his business. His working connections with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) are no secret either. So Zuckerberg’s incitement to protest after unexpectedly becoming alarmed by the increase in public transportation fares in Brazil is unlikely to be his own initiative."

USAID: A Front for CIA Intelligence Gathering

Public records show that USAID has long been a front for CIA intelligence gathering, as well as a conduit for CIA funding to foreign governments and agencies.

Capital-driven Civil Society

"Overemphasis in Leftist literature on aggressive aspects of imperialism (waged through both overt and covert military, economic, and diplomatic domination) has unfortunately meant that little attention has been paid to the equally important ‘friendly face’ of imperialism. Thus, when combined with the near total media blackout of critical analyses of elite funding of progressive groups, it is little wonder that there is minimal discussion of this phenomenon."

Human Rights Watch Lies about Chavez and Venezuela

"Hugo Chávez was not an authoritarian; he was a revolutionary. He stood not on legal formality, but on revolutionary principle. This is why Human Rights Watch and others must slander him. Hugo Chávez was a living example that it is possible to take on the powerful and rally the hopes of millions across the globe to end oppression and exploitation. While Human Rights Watch will never admit it, Hugo Chávez was the greatest humanitarian of the last decade."

MUST WATCH: Splitting the Sky Speaking on the Antiwar Left & “Progressives”

"So, if you want to know why they're not saying anything it's because they'd rather have the money and shut their mouth than have no money and speak the truth. That's who I am, that's why I'm here today and we're talking to that independent media right there. We're talking to you, you're talking to me."

The New Propaganda is ‘Liberal’

Today's “message” of grotesque inequality, social injustice and war is the propaganda of liberal democracies. By any measure of human behavior, this is extremism. When Hugo Chavez challenged it, he was abused in bad faith; and his successor will be subverted by the same zealots of the American Enterprise Institute, Harvard's Kennedy School and the “human rights” organisations that have appropriated American liberalism and underpin its propaganda.
