The International Campaign to Destabilize Syria

SIX QUESTIONS FOR THE MEDIA, THE UN AND NGOS REGARDING THE HOULA MASSACRE

Syria 360: "I received this statement through private correspondence with Marinella Corregia. I am posting the original Italian version. It appears on her website as “Lettera aperta al Ministro degli Esteri: Massacro degli innocenti a Hulé (Siria), contraddizioni dei media e dei politici internazionali”."

PHYSICIANS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS JOIN THE RANKS OF PRO-IMPERIALIST NGO’S

"Some days later I received my first email from PHR. I was floored by the heading, “Protect Syrian Citizens: Help Make Sanctions Tougher.” The word “tougher” struck me. The email read in part: “Help us impose tougher sanctions on Pres. Assad’s brutal regime. The Syria Sanctions Act of 2011, S. 1472, will target Syria’s energy and financial sectors. Contact your Senators today and urge them to back S. 1472.” The sponsor of this bill was Kirsten Gillibrand, and among the 12 co-sponsors were two neocon leaders, John McCain and Joe Lieberman, the latter hardly a human rights stalwart when it comes to Palestinians. Did that not ring alarm bells at PHR?"

Using NGOs to Coerce Nations

"The National Endowment for Democracy, closely associated with the Reagan Administration, was conceived as a tool of US foreign policy by its founder Mr Allen Weinstein, a former professor, Washington Post writer, and member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a neo-conservative think-tank whose members included Mr Henry Kissinger and Mr Zbigniew Brzezinski. The NED’s first director, Mr Carl Gershman, was candid that it was a front for the CIA. From its inception in 1983, the NED’s annual funds are approved by the US Congress as part of the United States Information Agency budget. Its activities include funding anti-Left and anti-labour movements; meddling in elections in Venezuela and Haiti; and, creating instability in countries resisting imperial America."

BROOKINGS INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES NEXT MOVE IN SYRIA – WAR

"The corporate-financiers centered around the capitals of the West have committed to a global war aimed at permanently destroying nation-states and replacing them with a homogeneous administrative system built out of Wall Street and London-funded NGOs, interlocking with the West's contrived "international institutions." It is in essence, a World War, currently being fought with 4th generation warfare to build a neo-imperial global government. With overt efforts to destabilize nations around the world, including Russia and China, the West's hand is revealed and there is no turning back."

CIA Asset Gloria Steinem’s “Women Under Siege” Joins Syrian Propaganda Campaign

"Women Under Siege is a project of Steinem’s “Women’s Media Center,” which is itself a spinoff of its umbrella organization, Ms Foundation. Steinem’s Ms Foundation is funded by convicted criminal and Wall Street speculator George Soros‘ Open Society Foundations, the Ford Foundation, Tides Foundation, New York Life, Google, the United Nations, AT&T, Lifetime, the ACLU, and many others featured in their 2011 Annual Report starting on page 27. So what appears to be a feminist crusade turns out to be yet another facade of Wall Street and London’s (ironically very male-dominated) charade of manipulating, exploiting, dividing, and controlling the population."

NATO’s Slow Genocide in Libya: Syria is Next

"That HRW and Amnesty International appear to be making the exact same mistakes in Syria, even as they finally admit the crimes of the “pro-democracy” rebels in Libya a year later and tens of thousands of lives too late, is certainly no mistake. This is exactly the purpose both organizations are meant to serve along with a myriad of other faux-NGOs – to lend legitimacy to both the Syrian terrorists and the governments of the West arming and directing them as they carry out what is essentially a campaign of foreign military conquest."

NGOs Promote Wars for Profit

"Other definitions call them non-political groups, advancing social/humanitarian objectives. In fact, most profiteer largely for themselves. They're ideologically biased predators, not humanitarians. Nearly all have entrenched bureaucracies. Their officials are highly paid. Their operating rules are secret. Their financing sources and amounts are undisclosed. They mostly come from domestic or foreign nations whose interests they serve. As agents, they perform PR, intelligence, and population control. Most don't provide humanitarian services." ... They all claim non-profit status, yet operate unethically. They collude with governments or business interests. Their profiteer handsomely, own unrelated businesses, and exploit people they claim to serve.

WATCH: NGO Your Enemy: Bogus Reports Fuel Intervention Industry

"Far from helping an embattled nation, NGOs operating in Syria are being accused of helping the push towards military intervention. Some are peddling unverified reports to deliberately encourage foreign action. The agencies hold sway with groups like NATO, which has weighed in on their findings before - with deadly consequences. RT's Marina Portnaya has more."

NGO crackdown: Egypt Denies Licenses to 8 U.S.-based Non-profits

"Powerful NGOs like Human Rights Watch or Amnesty International are supposed to be objective monitors and not take sides, but in reality they “enter into an excessively cozy relationship with for example the United States government, but also other powerful Western allies, over Libya and over other issues,” John Laughland from the Institute of Democracy and Cooperation told RT. This is what happened in Libya and is now happening in Syria, he added."

Syria: Another “Humanitarian War” Based on Lies & Deceit

"The Paris-based Centre for the Study of Interventionism (CSI) and Julien Teil, director of "Lies behind the "Humanitarian War" in Libya: There is no evidence!" has recently released a short documentary exposing how a cartel of Western nations and their Arab proxies are purposefully creating chaos inside targeted nations and then using it as a pretext to invade, topple governments, and replace them with preselected client regimes, and in effect threatening the very concept of national sovereignty."
