SPECIAL REPORT: EXPOSING U.S. AGENTS OF LOW-INTENSITY WARFARE IN AFRICA

"Operating behind front groups like ENOUGH and Raise Hope for Congo, John Prendergast has been long involved in supporting and covering up the western defense and intelligence sector's involvement in low-intensity conflicts in Africa. Like the so-called "non-government organizations" or "NGOs" named RESOLVE, Save Darfur, Raise Hope for Congo, STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur), United to End Genocide, the Genocide Intervention Network and many more, these groups morph and reconfigure, always drawing massive funds from specious U.S. government front organizations like the Center for American Progress."

Feminism as Counterterrorism?

"The most prominent and unequivocal public articulation of an alliance between feminism and counterterrorism came at the dawn of the U.S. war in Afghanistan, when Laura Bush argued that “the fight against terrorism is a fight for the rights and dignity of women.” This approach was criticized by many as “just a few opportunistic references to women.” However, today, what we may term ”security feminism” is becoming embedded in American foreign policy — a trend that has been emphatically empowered by Hillary Clinton’s State Department."

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, POPULAR SUPPORT IS AUTHORTARIANISM

"NGOs operate in much the same way today, facilitating imperial designs which only bring war, instability and misery first to the majority people’s of the South behind the mask of those people’s “human rights”. It is a mask however that is being ripped off, first with the call by ALBA for member countries to expel US AID and its representatives, and then this week with Russian President Vladimir Putin signing a bill that will make all NGO’s that receive external funding register as foreign agents, and most recently with Chavez pulling Venezuela out of the OAS’ Inter-American Human Rights Court. The OAS is of course another tool of western domination of the region, a body that is supposed to promote democracy is itself undemocratic and continues to violate the majority will of its members to end the criminal blockade on Cuba."

Amnesty for Occupation?

"Thus, the mainstream NGOs have grown intertwined with the imperial rulers and their states. The clearest expression of this cozy relationship is the revolving door between the bureaucracies of corporations, the state and the leadership of NGOs. Nossel’s transformation from corporate executive to State Department bureaucrat and executive director of a humanitarian NGO is increasingly the norm, not the exception."

A Tear for Africa: Humanitarian Abduction and Reduction

"Inciting hatred and racial fear by spreading false rumours, which then resulted in violence with a genocidal aim? Is that not a crime under international law any longer? Or does the law by implication never apply to the white people who called for it? This is interesting, to see how Amnesty International makes business for itself at both ends of genocide, and never, of course, never, offering as much as an apology or a simple admission to being wrong. Instead, what accomplished humanitarian elites, whether in the media, NGOs, think tanks…or the Swedish government, like to do when speaking of their favourite topics (such as female genital mutilation…in Africa, not their own kind), is to celebrate themselves. And they celebrate themselves with a nice big slice of n*gger cake:"

UNDERSTANDING THE PROPAGANDA WAR AGAINST SYRIA

"Almost as important as the content of the claims, was the nature of who made them. The UN Human Rights Council, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and countless other organizations which are dependent on funding from the US and its allies lent credence to such charges, providing an air of legitimacy to claims which, otherwise, would have been dismissed as little more than NATO propaganda. In this way, these organizations are complicit in the instigation of war and the devastation wrought on Libya."

THE SLOW AND SILENT GENOCIDE THE US IS CONDUCTING IN HAITI

"Indeed, the nationwide and even overseas (Diaspora) political and social terror against Haitians, supported by NGO donation dollars and US taxpayer dollars which prohibits the Lavalas opposition party to occupation to participate in elections since 2004 must end. The people would have risen up long ago against the humanitarian invasion but for the concerted international effort to re-image the old Duvalierist opportunists and stifle Haitian dissent."

Pious Poseurs

"The Indian government, of course, isn't the only regime that uses mythology or puppets to manipulate public opinion in support of foreign aggression. While in the US those puppets have traditionally taken on the form of talking heads on corporate and public television, they are increasingly represented in the form of NGO PR puppets employed in the moral theatrics industry."

Template for Survival

"With the militarization of humanitarian projects that has corrupted some big international NGOs of late, institutionalizing humanitarian efforts for the future requires that we rethink how we respond and reflect on how we might reform our humanitarian organizing."

Obstacles to Peace

"While a few independent monitors of human rights situations publish online, the big international NGOs are often corrupted by the power and prestige of rubbing elbows with state and corporate underlings, and have recently become more compliant with the US hegemonic project. Given this scenario, we need to look at some of the facts associated with US aggression toward international human rights law since its outset."
